Before Joining Any Home Business, Test The Marketing System Before You Join

You have seen dozens of internet home businesses on the internet. They entice you, grab your attention and convince you to join. If they do a good job of convincing you, hopefully they will do a good job bringing in hundreds after you. Surveying the entire marketing system is a great idea before you sign up. After every automatically generated email, call or other method to sign you up, ask yourself if you think this will work for your prospects.

You have probably seen websites say that their marketing system does 95%, 99%, 100% of the work. Challenge them. Don’t join right away. Make them work for your curiosity and your talent. You may ultimately join their company or program. If they don’t entice you to join or keep trying to get you back after you have said no, the system is probably not going to work for you as you begin to market the system.

One of the most popular marketing systems involves reeling in prospects through capture pages. Once the company captures an email address, they have the opportunity to send a round of emails day after day to remind the prospect of the opportunity. It also enables them to build a huge list to market other products at a later date. You have probably heard the guru’s say that the gold is in the list. This is why.

A great place to learn about how an automated system is designed to work, is to test MyWorldPlus. I am an associate member and I was impressed with the system before I joined. I always try to remember that everything I see is exactly what my future enrollees will see.

Never forget that promoting anything on the internet is going to be a challenge. Chances are there are hundreds or thousands of people just like you promoting the same product or program. With such arduous competition, an automated capture and email system is a must. If either one of these features is missing, I would recommend another program.

One other thing you want to do is go to the leader board, if they have one, and review the number of signups per person. This will give you an idea, on average, of how many signups are flowing into the company.

During your test period your job is to get a realistic expectation of the program. You have to see through the hype and focus on the possibilities not the guarantees. For example if a company claims that they do all the work and all you have to do is advertise your site, join knowing nothing is going to happen with out an effort on your part. A realistic expectation will give you the patience you need to remain in the program for the long haul.

In closing, making it online takes a lot of work and truthfully most people have a difficult time driving quality traffic to their capture pages. The last thing you need is a program that doesn’t close the deal after the traffic arrives.
