You Want a Legitimate Internet Business? 4 Questions to Ask Yourself By Kelli Cooper
Between all the different search terms on the internet, millions of people are searching for a legitimate internet business each and every month. It is understandable because a legitimate internet business can be lucrative and allow people one of the ultimate desires or wishes of many: To be self-employed and be able to make your own schedule. Notice before I said wish or desire. While one might think they are one in the same, they are actually quite different and depending on where you fall in regards to wanting to operate a legitimate internet business it will determine your success or failure if you decide to take the leap and get one.
In my opinion, Pay Per Click is the most worthwhile form of paid advertising. However, the key to long term success lies in many free methods so do not despair if you do not have a huge advertising budget to start with. Your best traffic will come from organic searches in search engines, blog directories, article directories, etc…People are looking for something specific and use certain keywords to find it. They are then directed to your blog, article, site, etc… and will be interested in what you have to say on the matter. For success with a legitimate internet business, these tips below will help increase exposure for your site and will not cost you a thing.
Do you strongly desire to work at home, or is it just a wish? When someone strongly desires to operate a legitimate internet business, they have very specific reasons for wanting to. They are specific about the kind of money they want to make, why they want the freedom it affords and what they plan to do with the time. They have a burning desire for a certain lifestyle and are committed to getting it.My desire for time freedom and traveling the world is so unbelievably strong that I will do whatever it takes to achieve it. If you do not have all these things figured out in specific detail, it is imperative that you figure it out. If you are not willing to take the time to do that, you will never find the motivation and discipline to build your business successfully.
Post comments to other blogs. Another great way to improve your ranking with your legitimate internet business, increase exposure and learn some good information about various topics is to post comments on other people’s blogs. Most of the time, you are able to enter a name and website along with your comment. This too will allow you to link up your site with your chosen keywords and improve your place on the search results. Once again, nothing excessive. Remember to use the keyword you are focusing on when entering your name as this is the anchor text that is linking to the website you are promoting. Be thoughtful with your comments and actually read the post you are commenting on. You can focus on blogs related to your business or you can just visit ones that pertain to any topic that interests you. I do a little of both.
If you are just starting out, focus on less popular keywords. Depending on the nature of your legitimate internet business, there are probably tons of keywords of varying popularity relating to your site. Some may have hundreds of thousands of searches every month and some may have only a few thousand. Some terms return hundreds of millions of pages in Google and some only a few hundred thousand. Obviously, it is awesome to rank high for one of the former. That is a lot of natural traffic. However, the more popular a keyword, the more competitive it is. If you are just starting out with a legitimate internet business, focus on keywords that have a few million search results at most. This way, you will have less competition and your articles, blog posts, and your site itself can climb the pages much more quickly than if you chose a word that shows up on 200 million sites.
If you find a few less popular keywords that have at least a thousand searches a month and end up on the first couple of pages of the search engine, you will have a decent amount of people seeing what you have to offer. A legitimate internet business takes a while to produce consistent income so you need to have some patience and get the ball rolling. Take some time to do some keyword research and find some relevant but less competitive words and phrases. It is a good place to start and will get your legitimate internet business out there in front of interested people.
