Your Passions

What you see over and over today are people jumping right into the “make money online” arena without first preparing. What should be considered is this thing of preparation. You don’t just jump into being a brain surgeon, or a lawyer, or dentist right? The same thing applies with online marketing, you simply must prepare first.

Of course there is no end to the people out there that will have you thinking you can just turn on your computer and press a few buttons and in no time flat your computer is spitting out money like a slot machine.

And I’ll have to admit, it is a walk in the park compared to what you have to put up with in the working world punching a clock being a subordinate to someone who does not have your interests in mind, but there are still rules you have to follow and pitfalls you must avoid to actually make Internet marketing work for you.

Unfortunately most folks won’t ever make much money online, while there are others that bring in major cash day in and day out. Makes you wonder huh?

My answer begins with the age-old chicken or egg question, “what comes first the chicken or the egg”? Personally I vote for, well never mind, each argument you or I make comes back to the same old conclusion - I have no clue and I don’t think many of us do either.

The thing is, one of the main ingredients to success at anything is passion. Passion for what you are pursuing. You have to make a decision that today and everyday you’re going for it with all the gusto you’ve got!

The thing about passion is there has to be a receiving subject. Meaning you can’t just up and say “I’m gonna be passionate today” About what? “Well, I don’t know for sure” It’s passion for something great, something that will bring tremendous results for you and many others.

There are those that just seem to be able to sell ice to eskimos, and completely ignore the whole passion thing. But what about the rest of us who need that extra push to get us over the edge.

No, passion isn’t the only thing necessary to achieve success. To be successful online, you must have a good website, good sales ability, a whole lot of advertising, great support, quality keywords, etc. Those things typically come from the company you join, but without tossing this thing called passion in, you’ll get burned out.

It therefore follows that, if you have no Passion for the company and the products and services provided by that company, again, you won’t attempt to do the work you are being taught.

Internet marketing work is typically not all that difficult or time consuming but it does take motivation caused by Passion to get you off and running with a sustained effort so that you won’t stumble.

At your disposal, for free I might add, is one of the greatest research tools attached to the internet ever invented. I’m talking about Google search. Be sure to use it for all it’s worth.

Your search will reveal many companies and opportunities vying for your attention. They all make grand promises and sound so good, but make sure it’s got the good old-fashioned things like, they treat people with respect, a good customer service department. You want to be taken care of and your customers to be taken care of. Keep looking until you find the right fit for you.

And just because the latest internet guru is doing it, doesn’t mean it will be all roses for you. Remember they can sometimes just about sell anything and not have passion. Dig down deep and make sure it’s a product you can believe strongly in.

Important note here. When you’re selling online, make sure to get to the point as quickly as possible. This is even more important when you’re selling online.

Again, it’s vitally important that you find a product you can be passionate about. To save you from confusion and frustration down the road.

So make sure you’ve got passion to avoid the major roadblock that most people face when starting out online.
